How to find the version number

FRONTEND
To find the version of the front end, login to SharePoint and go to Central Administration
– General Application Settings and under the Search & Preview for SharePoint area, go to About Search & Preview.

BACKEND
To find the versions of the backend services, go to the servers where you have installed the backend services and see the information in the windows Program and Features in the Control Panel.
