The Display Options settings control several different aspects of the way each found document is displayed in the result list. The following settings are available:
• The number of sentences in result summary: Search & Preview generates a summary based on the content of each found document. Enter the number of sentences to include in this summary here.
• Truncate title…: Enter the maximum number of characters to display for each document title. Longer titles will be truncated. Set to zero to disable truncating.
• Truncate URL…: Enter the maximum number of characters to display for each document URL. Longer URLs will be truncated. Set to zero to disable truncating.
• Layout table styles: The Search Result Web Part emits your settings here as values for the XML element. The default XSLT templates place these as value for the style attribute of the
